Rules for using the Atreyo online store and buying products from us

Welcome. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the online store at www.atreyo.in and to any purchase you make there. The store is operated by Atreyo Research and Development Pvt. Ltd. ("Atreyo", "we", "our", "us"), a company incorporated in India (CIN: [CIN to be inserted]) with its registered office at 414, Sunrise Complex, Mansi Cross Road, Ahmedabad — 380052, Gujarat, India. Please read these Terms before you place your first order. Using our store means you accept them. If any part of these Terms is unacceptable to you, please do not use the store.
Please note: this online store serves customers in India only. Orders are accepted for delivery within India, and payment is processed in Indian Rupees.
1. Who we are and what we sell
Atreyo has been designing and manufacturing industrial IoT and embedded systems since 2016. Our catalogue includes IoT gateways, cellular routers, industrial computers, interfaces and expanders, information displays, street-light controllers, traffic and parking devices, and related accessories. These products are engineered for professional deployment in industries such as utilities, transportation, energy, and infrastructure. Historically we have supplied to enterprise customers and system integrators; the online store now lets smaller buyers and individual engineers within India order single units directly.
Because our products are industrial hardware, you should have — or work with someone who has — the technical background needed to install, configure, and integrate them. Product datasheets and application notes are available at docs.atreyo.in.
2. Who can place an order
The Atreyo online store is intended for engineers, integrators, businesses, and technically-competent buyers within India who need our industrial IoT products in single-unit or small quantities. When you place an order you confirm that you have the authority to do so — either on your own behalf or on behalf of the organisation whose details you enter. For orders on behalf of a company, we may require its registration and GSTIN details for correct invoicing. Where the value of an order or the specific product involves regulatory verification, we may ask for additional supporting information before we accept and dispatch the order.
3. Creating an account
Some parts of the store require an account. Please give correct information when you register and keep it current. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and for everything that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, tell us immediately at support@atreyo.in so we can help you secure your account.
4. Product listings, availability and prices
We try to describe every product accurately and to show representative images. Small differences between the picture and the actual unit — cable colour, marking, revision number — may occur without affecting fitness for purpose. If there is a conflict between what is on the website and the latest product datasheet, the datasheet governs.
All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR / ₹) and are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST); GST at the prevailing rate is added at the time of invoicing. We reserve the right to change prices; the price applicable to your order is the one shown when we confirm it.
Stock levels change through the day. If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you before dispatch and offer either an alternative, back-order at the same price, or a full refund.
5. How an order is formed
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. That offer becomes a contract only when we send you an order-confirmation email. Between the two, we may — at our sole discretion — decline the order (for example, if we detect a pricing error, cannot verify the payment, or cannot ship lawfully to your address). If we do, we will refund any amount charged in full.
You may cancel before dispatch by writing to support@atreyo.in. Once the shipment leaves our facility, cancellations are no longer possible; from that point the Refund & Return Policy applies.
6. Payment
We accept payment methods enabled by our payment-gateway partners for Indian customers. Depending on the method you choose, these typically include credit and debit cards issued in India, UPI, net banking, wallets, and RuPay. All payments are processed by the gateway under its own terms and privacy policy; we do not store your full card number or CVV.
You represent that any payment instrument you use is yours or that you have authority to use it. Any charges levied by your bank or by the gateway are your responsibility. If a payment is later reversed for reasons other than our fault, we may recover the sum from you or offset it against future orders.
7. Invoicing and GST
For every accepted order we issue a tax invoice compliant with Rule 46 of the CGST Rules, 2017, showing GSTIN, HSN codes, and applicable tax. If you are a business customer and want the invoice raised in your business name with your GSTIN, please provide these details at checkout so we can apply the correct place-of-supply and tax treatment. Corrections to invoicing details after dispatch may not be possible.
8. Shipping and delivery
We ship across India. Details on methods, timelines, and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery.
9. Returns and refunds
Returns are limited to defective, damaged, or wrongly-shipped products, and must be initiated within 7 days of delivery. Please see the Refund & Return Policy for the full process. We do not accept returns for change of mind, ordering error by you, or normal wear-and-tear.
10. Warranty and support
Our standard warranty is 18 months from the date of delivery, unless the product listing states otherwise. Coverage, exclusions, and the procedure for warranty claims (including RMA) are described in the Warranty & Support Policy.
11. Intellectual property
The name "Atreyo", the tagline "Solutions that Simplify", the Atreyo logo, product designs, firmware, source code, documentation, images, and website content are protected under Indian intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, decompile, reverse-engineer, or resell any of these except as expressly permitted in writing by us or, where applicable, under a valid open-source licence bundled with the product. Nothing on the store transfers any intellectual-property right to you beyond the licence needed to use the product for its intended purpose.
12. Acceptable use of the website
You agree not to use the store to do anything unlawful, harmful, or disruptive. In particular, do not:
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, servers, or systems;
• probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the store without written permission;
• upload viruses, malware, or any code intended to disrupt service;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with an entity;
• submit fraudulent orders, use stolen payment credentials, or initiate bad-faith chargebacks;
• scrape the store using automated tools other than compliant search-engine crawlers.
13. Intermediary status and grievance redressal
To the extent that we function as an intermediary under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, we operate in accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Under Rule 3(2), our Grievance Officer is [Grievance Officer name to be inserted], reachable at support@atreyo.in, who acknowledges complaints within 24 hours and disposes of them within 15 days of receipt.
14. Disclaimers
The store is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the store will meet any particular requirement. Product-specific warranties are limited to those expressly set out in the Warranty & Support Policy; to the extent permitted by law, all other warranties — express, implied, or statutory — are excluded.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages of any kind (including loss of profit, revenue, data, business opportunity, or goodwill) arising from your use of the store or the product. Our total liability for any claim, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, is limited to the price you actually paid for the product that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian consumer-protection law.
16. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold Atreyo, its directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claim, loss, or liability (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the store or the product, or your infringement of a third party's rights.
17. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, war, riots, government action, network or infrastructure outages, or transport disruptions. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any such event and resume performance as soon as possible.
18. Termination
We may suspend or close your account, cancel pending orders, and refuse further service at our discretion if you breach these Terms, engage in fraud, or if we are required to do so by law. Termination does not affect rights or obligations accrued prior to it.
19. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the arbitration provision below, the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or connected with these Terms.
Any dispute the parties cannot settle amicably within 30 days of written notice will be resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before a sole arbitrator appointed by Atreyo. The seat and venue of arbitration will be Ahmedabad; the language will be English. The award will be final and binding. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent interim relief from a competent court.
For consumers, this clause does not affect your right to approach the appropriate District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or to use any online consumer grievance mechanism made available by the Government of India (e.g., the National Consumer Helpline).
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of the page for at least 30 days. The version effective at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
21. Other legal points
Severability
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in force.
Assignment
You cannot assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign to a group company or successor.
Entire agreement
These Terms — together with the Privacy Policy, Refund & Return Policy, Shipping Policy, Warranty & Support Policy, Cookie Policy, and Disclaimer — set out the whole agreement between you and Atreyo for use of the store, and replace any earlier understanding on the same subject.
Language
These Terms are drawn up in English.
